So this week's theme is "L".  With it raining so much here I could not get out and find something with the letter L so the first thing that came up was LEGs.  (smile).  So here you go, my version of "L".

Black and White Wednesday

Today is Black and White Wed. Here is what I captured.  I hope you enjoy it.

I saw this old Ford truck on one of my walks.  My family has always been a Ford family. I have always had a Ford car and only really had one car that wasn't and I hated it and ended up trading it in for a Ford. lol. When I see them I think of my grandfather and him saying he only will buy American made cars.  He said that because he fought in the war first of all and also because his generation was all about making and buying things in America.  I love that.  I love that generation how families had values, everyone dressed nice and had manners, things seemed cleaner then, just the pride in everything then.  Of course there are a few things I would change but I won't get into that.  I like to think of myself as an optimist. So I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Tuesday Simplicity Photo Challange-Weather

Well the weather today is CLOUDY.  And I will take that since here in Oregon we get rain, rain, rain and for the next few days straight we have more rain and possibly snow in the forecast.  I am not complaining because I am hoping since my besties are coming to visit me all the way from Alabama next week it will allow us to have a few sunny or cloudy days to get out and explore. Here's hoping.  lol.
