Wid & Wonderful Wednesday-Photo Challenge

This will be my first post for Wild and Wonderful Wednesday. With two young children my days are pretty wild and fun. 

Where we live we have an apple tree right beside our deck.  And we have birds, squirrels, cat, etc that come there to eat.  Sometimes I feel like Snow White with all the animals coming.  Thankfully they are not coming to hear me sing like the real Snow White.  lol.  I love to sit and watch the birds come to eat every day.  And now as I am on my daily walks I look up to see them flying around. 

You Capture-FALL

Fall is my absolute favorite season.  It is the time of year I was married, had my first child, it is FOOTBALL season, leaves change colors, sweaters and boots are in style once more, you can have a fire in your fireplace, and mostly it is the start of the holidays. 

I love this photo because it captures that the leaves have changed colors and most have fallen off the tree and also the leaf is in the shape of a heart. 

Little Man Love

I recently had an amazing photo shoot with a friend of mine and her children.  She needed some Christmas photos and I needed a little practice.  She has a little man who will be a year in January and he is utterly adorable.  I can't wait until I get to babysit him when his mom and dad go on a date.  lol. 

He did such a great job the entire time but right after this picture he was done.  hehe. Babies are so precious.  I hope you enjoy my selection.

I know you all have been waiting for awhile to see these.  Sorry about that.  Life kinda got away from me for awhile.  Busy being a momma.  lol.  Hope you enjoy.

Clickinwalk-Portland

I was lucky enough to stumble across a web site called,"Clickin Moms", and found out about a walk they were having in my area.  I instantly wanted to go.  I love walking around towns snapping away and to be able to walk with fellow moms at the same time=FUN!  
I was a little nervous at first.  I didn't know anyone, and I also didn't know how to get around Downtown Portland.  Thank goodness I have a GPS.  I found the meeting area easy but parking had a science to it.  I finally after driving around the same block 5 times stopped and asked some nice ladies with cameras in their hands where on earth do I park.  One suggested parallel parking across the road, I in my head started laughing.  The thought of me  parallel parking was hilarious. That was the one thing I did not have on my driving test.  Finally I found a parking garage!  I don't mind paying 4 bucks as long as my car doesn't get towed and I can well PARK.  
All the ladies were super nice.  Some had tons of experience and some were like me, still learning.  We walked the streets stopping where ever we saw a great spot.  Our teen model was a pro and gorgeous to say the least.  Two hours later we ended our time with a group picture, they headed to grab a bite to eat and I headed to the mountains to spend my anniversary with my hubby. 
We all said we wanted to plan another outing together.  I sure hope we do.  It was amazing. So glad I stepped out of my comfort zone.

Taking a Walk....

I deceided to put on my walking shoes and get out of the house to enjoy the wonderful sunshine day we had.  We won't be having many more since the rainy season is closing in on us.  I walked down the road where there is a huge field and old house with a barn.  I just love it back there.

I am thinking and thinking about what kind of blog I want this to be. So I am trying some things out to get the feel for it.  Thanks for being patient with me.  I want it to show my personality in photography and not what I see in others because that of course shows their personality.  There will be lots of changes coming up.  So let me know what you like and don't.  CHEERS!

Newport Beach, Oregon

We have a family tradition that when a birthday comes up in our house we go on a trip. It was our daughters 11th birthday so we choose to head to the coast for the weekend.  Newport Beach is a place we have wanted to search and explore since we arrived in Oregon.  As you can tell I had a great time snapping away.

We had a great time walking downtown watching the fishermen bring in the fish, flying kites, running with the dogs, and esp enjoying birthday cake.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH.

Kaley-Senior Session

I met Kaley back when I was working at our old church and she was on my children's ministry team. I instantly fell in love with her.  She is a sweet, funny, and a beautiful lady.  She asked me if I would take her senior pictures when she found out I was heading back to Alabama for a visit and of course I could not refuse her. She had helped me out so many times at church.  We had a great time shooting at the same time playing catch up.  Thanks for the opportunity Kaley and for being such a trooper in the 100 degree heat. 

Popham Wedding(my very first)

I was super nervous to shoot my very first wedding.  Thankfully it was for my dear friends Kristan and Nathan Popham.  They have a wonderful Love story.  Nate had some health issues that didn't allow them to have an actual wedding so they were originally married at the court house.  Through God's healing hand and amazing doctors he has been healthy for a year now.  Now they had the chance to have the wedding of their dreams and hop on a plane to Jamaica.  I was so blessed and thankful to be able to be a part of their day. Congrats again!

Little Princess

My second model of the week....Hannah, my super excited, pumped, ready for anything daughter.  Any one who knows her know she is full of life and her laugh lights up a room.  She has such natural beauty taking her picture is so easy.  She even gives me a few pointers.   We ended up going to two locations.
